Land secured

This is one of the most expensive investments to achieve for local organizations operating in Uganda and we are so glad to inform you that as an organization we have secured very very beautiful and well situated land big enough to establish the academy. It is six acres in size and just 18 kilometers from the Ugandan city center (Kampala). This means that we are so close to the city and just 38 kilometers to Entebbe International Airport.

Staff Facility Built

Through working step by step with the first team to get on board as our board members, the Ugandan Team leader and the two board members have already been able to establish a base for the academy where the Team leader now fully stays to be able to conduct meetings, host relevant people as all the programs regarding the academy are under development. The home is now fully functional and this has helped safe guard the land but also to easily envision how the rest of the developments will look like.

This home will also start hosting donors who may want to come and associate or even plan for the development of the academy. All the meetings with all members of staff involved are being help here. It was key that this home be established as a base for further and future developments on the property.

Establishing Gardens

We are slowly embarking on establishing crop plantations so as to create avenues of skilling when the 1st cohort starts.

Bee keeping

We have established a bee keeping project to generate income to support EDA activities

Live stock

We have established a livestock project to generate income to support EDA activities

Goat rearing

We have established a goat rearing project to generate income to support EDA activities

Climate action

We engage young people to become agents of climate action and come up with sustainable solutions to address the effects of climate change.
